Whether the lyric "Oh, I get by with a little help from my friends" or "I'll be there for you, when the rain starts to fall." gets stuck in your head (sorry, not sorry) we all know that a PTO's strength is in its number of volunteers! 

AND we need you!

Over the summer we've had a number of parents generously raise their hand to lead committees and support programs. However, we are still short of some key roles to continue to provide a lot of the same events, learning enrichment, and opportunities that have grown over the years. Ms. Hall joined the SPES Staff over the summer and has been hard at work with the rest of the custodial team preparing the school for re-opening. We asked her a few questions to get to know her better:

What are you most excited about for the school year ahead?
I am looking forward to getting to know the people in this community and helping to maintain the school to be a clean and a safe environment for the kids.

How long have you worked in schools?
I have worked for the school board for 13 years.

What is your favorite thing to do outside of work?
The things that I like to do outside of work is spend time with my grand-kids, crochet, and play with my two dogs, Dixie and Bell.

Teachers returned to the classroom last Friday and your support of re-stocking the lounge was amazing! Thank you for your thoughtfulness and generosity!

Thank you to all the Bobcats (new and returning!) who were able to join us for Kindergarten Signing Day and Popsicles with the Principal! Starting a new school can be overwhelming for both students and families alike as it takes a while to get acclimated to new routines and systems. Please feel free to reach out to the PTO should you have any questions along the way. Veteran parents are always happy to help!
