Boone's Backyard is the name of the native garden and courtyard area that serves as an outdoor classroom for SPES. The PTO is proud to support this program through the care and maintenance of the outdoor classroom, providing the materials and support needed to keep it beautiful and welcoming year-round. This includes weeding, trimming, and mulching, among various activities. This space thrives through a strong partnership between teachers, parents, and Arlington Echo. 

Many plants here have been enjoying their summer as much as the students; and some too much! Help us tame our native garden to get it ready for students to use. Sign-up to join a quiet morning of weeding in the garden!

Want to help create a thriving outdoor space for SPES students while contributing in a way that fits your interest, skills, and availability? We are searching for new ways to accomplish this in Boone's Backyard and have a very short survey to get this started.
