Due to forecasted rain, Walk, Bike & Roll to school day is NOW Thursday October 9th, 2025! It will be a cool morning, so don’t forget to bundle up a bit! 

Join kids across the nation for National Walk and Bike to School day. There will be music, chalk, bubbles, an appearance by Boone, and a chance to win fun prizes. 

Festivities will take place from 7:30-7:55am. 

All children should check in at the table on the blacktop so they can be entered into a FREE raffle, and so we can get an accurate headcount.  If at least 175 kids participate in Walk and Bike to School Day, the whole school wins extra recess!  There will also be several prizes awarded to the students who can guess the closest to the total number of combined walkers and bikers.  All participants will receive a sticker. 

Please remember to bring a bike lock to secure your student's bike.  Volunteers will be able to assist with where bikes can be properly secured on school grounds as we anticipate a lot more than usual!
