Join kids across the nation (and your fellow SPES bobcats!) for National Walk and Bike to School day. There will be music, chalk, bubbles, an appearance by Boone, and a chance to win fun prizes.

NEW THIS YEAR! AN SPES BIKE BUS! See details below for meet up points along a safe route to school for students to meet up with some teachers and administrators. You are also welcome to choose to travel to school however you like best, not just your average walk or roll - skip, jump rope, scooter, roller skate - make it fun!

Upon arrival, students can check in at tables on the blacktop so they can be entered into a FREE raffle, and so we can get an accurate headcount. If at least 175 kids participate in Walk and Bike to School Day, the whole school wins extra recess! There will also be prizes awarded to the students who can guess the closest to the total number of combined walkers and bikers. All participants will receive a sticker.

Please remember to bring a bike lock to secure your student's bike. Volunteers will be able to assist with where bikes can be properly secured on school grounds as we anticipate a lot more than usual!

We hope to see you all there!
