Step right up and get ready to witness the greatest show on earth on April 12th, 2024 at the SPHS Auditorium!

Yes, it is that time of year, once again, for our SPES children to show off their myriad of talents. This is truly a VARIETY Show. In the past we have had gymnasts, comedians, hula hooping jokesters, contortionists, ventriloquists, jump ropers, karate kids, pianists, magicians, dancers, singers – you name it, we’ve had it!  We are looking for fun and unusual acts to go along with the dancing and singing. We encourage kids to join up with friends and come up with a fabulous group act.  Think outside of the box!  If you are a talented musician, please share your gift with us.  If you write poetry and want to recite your original poem, please join us.

We really encourage group acts and strictly enforce our time limit of 90 seconds. However, if your group act is truly one of a kind like those listed above or involves a teacher participant, the act may be given up to 120 seconds performance time. You will be told at the TELL ME session, based on the variety of acts we receive for submission. Your allotted performance time is non-negotiable.

The deadline for submissions is Friday, February 16th in order to participate in the show.  We are collecting submissions via Google Forms. Please click here to submit your act for the 2024 Variety Show. Songs will be assigned on a first come, first serve basis, based on the time stamp of arrival. Submissions will not be accepted until February 3rd. Remember too, when it comes to music choice, that it MUST be elementary school appropriate, and lyrics MUST be provided for the segment of the song you are using.  Please review the dates and information very carefully.  Being a part of the Variety Show is a commitment. Attendance at ALL REHEARSALS and the performance in its entirety are required in order to participate in this exciting show. One parent from the act must attend ONE of the Tell Me Sessions.

This PTO event is a charity event and all monies collected are donated to the AAMC Fortney Breast Center in memory of fellow SPES moms we have lost to breast cancer since its inception; Jennifer Soverns, Jennifer McFarland and Loretta Wilson - who dreamed of creating this opportunity for all children at SPES to have a shining star moment.
