2026-2027 Lunch/Recess Volunteers

Parent volunteers are expected to arrive 5 minutes before their scheduled shift and check in at the front office to receive a visitor badge. After checking in, they should report directly to their assigned location for recess or lunch. Other AACPS staff members will be present and can answer any questions or provide help if needed. Volunteers must have a completed background check on file with the school to participate. This is a great opportunity to experience lunchtime and recess from a student's perspective.

Lunch and Recess Schedule by Grade-Level
Kindergarten: Lunch @ 10:15-10:45am, Recess @ 10:45-11:15am
1st/2nd Grade: Lunch @ 11:20-11:50am, Recess @11:50am-12:20pm
3rd/4th Grade: Recess @ 11:25-11:55am, Lunch @ 11:55am-12:25pm
5th Grade: Recess @ 10:15-10:45am, Lunch @ 10:45-11:15am
